    Angry White River High Water

    Hey guys, went through Des Arc today and after I crossed the White River there the road was closed. Both 33 and 38 are now closed. We need to all be careful and keep our prayers going for all effected by the tornados and now flood waters.

    All the lake upstream except Bull Shoals and Greers are within 1' of going over the spillway or are going over the spillway. And it's still raining here in Greers Ferry.

    It is going to be awhile. Best way to find any location with a gauge is;
    NOAA - National Weather Service - Water
    Click on area you are interested in, that will take you to page covering smaller area, click on gauge you want to see.Clarendon on White River for instance is here;
    http://water.weather.gov/ahps2/hydrograph.php?wfo=lzk&gage=clda4&view=1,1,1,1,1,1 ,1,1"
    click on river at a glance tab just above graph and it shows all gauges on that river in one column and information available in other.Click on what you want to see and you get something like this. I like the impact portion and flow is importent when fishing.

    Saw on news this evening they are shutting down I40 east bound tonight because the white is getting over it. Already have one lane shut down.
