Sorry, guys I just saw this. (I'm an AGFC fisheries biologist). I wish I could see the head without the finger in the mouth, but I'm 95% sure it's a striped shiner. It is in full breeding regalia with the color, and the knobs on the head.

By the way, this is an extremely common fish in our streams and rivers. I've seen them up to 12" and caught them on light tackle before.
