What kind of fish?

Sorry, guys I just saw this. (I'm an AGFC fisheries biologist). I wish I could see the head without the finger in the mouth, but I'm 95% sure it's a striped shiner. It is in full breeding regalia with the color, and the knobs on the head.

Hawgdog, did it look a lot like this?

By the way, this is an extremely common fish in our streams and rivers. I've seen them up to 12" and caught them on light tackle before.

That is wild.. Can't ever say I have seen or caught one of them before!!

Yes Big Ben....That is the fish....a lot more color, but the article says they color increases during spawn....THANKS !!!!
