We fished the State Park tourney at Millwood Sat. I think 24 lbs won it, 22 was second, and our 13 came in 3rd. The big fish was 39 oz.
We caught ours in a shallow cove on minnows 12 to 16 inches deep. Apparently on a bed, all males, very dark colored. Fished some cypress groves with no luck. Did not fish any deep water.Don't know what the water temp was. We were able to find some fish by covering a lot of water and casting to every stump in that cove. The same action in other coves did not produce anything. Picture is what we caught Friday.

Howdy fishbaskett, congrats on the 3rd place finish in the tourney. Just wanted to say it was great meetin and talkin to ya last friday. I got only six after I left yall, looked for ya when i loaded, thought yall might want my fish to make ya a good mess for supper, but didnt see ya. Had a hard sat. and sunday myself, only manged 3 fish each day.
Anyway was great to meet ya and hope to see ya again soon at Millwood or Greeson.
