Hey yellowjacket - My wife and I drove by there a week ago getting some mud on the tires and its finely got water in it. No body was there. Do you fish any of the barrow pit around Marked Tree? Or in the the Ft Francis Sunken Land. Tulot still looks like chocolate milk.

Was that you there the last time I fished it? It's been about 30 years for me also. It may be snagging time for a big catfish down there. Water may be tough for a crappie or a bass as high as it is.Originally Posted by soswine

RCC we went sunday it was just a litte high for crappie and bass the bass r up angaist the wall right now there were 10 people down there snagging saw 1 guy jerk up 20 lb flat head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Billy E - when I was in college and worked w the superior crew I pretty much lived on that river. Awesome place, but it was only ever good for me when the water was down low. Used to put in at a place they called deep landing and at iron bridge. Fishing there in the fall felt like poaching it was so good at times. Miss that place!
