If you had to learn a new lake and were trying to fish mid April, where would you fish?

Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The sheep live in fear of the wolf but in the end it's the shepherd that eats them.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes click when it is supposed to go bang and
a gun the goes bang when it is supposed to go click.
I was told that right now Peckerwood is REALLY low. My source says like 3-4 ft low.
You Can Make a Difference!
When I moved to Arkansas, I learned Conway first. I voted before I thought about Greeson or though Greer's Ferry.

I am a heterosexual male. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Conway probably has more Crappie per square ft. than any other lake around here, but it has about 10 times more stumps. Take a rope with you, and use your trolling motor, if you have very big boat. I would pick Greers Ferry for cleanliness of water and the creeks that feed it. Still like Dardenelle and Piney,Overcup and Atkins. You need to ask easier questions. You're straining my brain.
If the white river would stay around 19ft I would try fishing the oxbow off of it I have always had good luck in Maddox bay and east lake and Kansas lake but the river has to be right
Fish the one closest to you that way you can fish more
nothing beats time on the water
My first choice would be Bull Shoals, second would be Beaver.
If you're too busy to go fishing, you're too busy!
dblevens after you fix my windshield i would say Lake Asbaugh right now! Ive had 2 pics sent to me this week that look pretty dang good! You have the itch i do on all the south lakes but some of the best fishing is right here at home!! (over looked)! I vote black river when it gets to about 3 foot this summer and holds steady and clear!
"I HAVE FISHED THROUGH FISHLESS DAYS THAT I REMEMBER HAPPILY WITHOUT REGRET"
Ashbaugh is like fishing in the open sea with this wind. Not alot of fish coming out of there, but definitely some good uns. Yeah, and black is way to high and muddy for sure.
