Crappie likes to use the brush to hang their eggs on to it----Stops the washing away-----Crappie loves heavy brush and I love to wiggle them out of those tree tops.

I use all the above types of material all work but only when placed in the right location for current conditions in other words some are never productive incorrect locations others are productive when conditions are correct at their locations mine are most productive during the warmer months post spawn all are in 10ft plus water .

One of moma's home remedies was crushed green walnut husks, made a poltus to kill ring worms. Not sure the cure was not worse than the ring worm. It would burn the skin and peel but the ring worm was gone.Rofl

Always heard you could put a bunch of green walnuts in the hull in a tow sack and smash them up, drag the sack around the edge of a pond and it would either kill or stun the fish (can't remember which) and they'd float to the top and you could just pick them up. Never tried it, but always heard that!
My wife keeps saying I never listen to her....... or something like that!
