The weather finally gave us a break today and several of the Crappie.com members and friends showed up for our first big structure build. We had a great time and an awesome lunch of barbecue wild hog sandwiches with the meat provided by J.A. Fair.
A special thanks goes out to Harold's wife,Glenda, for her hospitality for the drinks, cake, and preparing the food.
We had a pretty good turn-out and the build went very smooth. Putting some of the pallets in was a little different story though. I think all together we put out 34 pallet beds, a couple PVC structures, and 4 cane condos.
We're going to put out a few more things tomorrow and I think that SS2004 may be able to join us.
We are even talking about either a Crappie.com fishing day or another structure build with a big fish-fry for lunch.
I really enjoyed meeting all the guys and look forward to doing some fishing together sometime.
Here's a couple of pics from the build and loading the boats. Didn't think to take any of sinking them.
