    Default Warming temps

With the warming temps we have Had this week, I would bet the fish are making some moves towards the shallower waters in arkansas, a few more days with these kind of temps they will be for sure looking for the prespawn pattern. So is the jig your prespawn go to bait or do you prefer livebait or a combination of both. My preference is still a Midsouth tube jig.
You can't beat the taste of them ole fried SLABS N TATERS!!

I like tube jigs this time of year. I can switch colors until I find one they like.

You will be suprized at Slabs super shallow after a few warm days. Late Feb and early March they move in to help eggs mature I think. Seems like here the large females can suddenly move up in less than 2' sometimes. Usually better in the afternoons as water warms. But first cold snap will send them packing for deep water. Pick a northwest shallow bank with cover especially if the sun is shining.Thumbs Up
