Those fisherman are just that---not good buddies or Sportsman. Last week I was attempting to move to a stand of tall timber. By the time I got my boat untied and the trolling motor going---I guess this guy heard me and moved in on the same spot. he was closer to the spot than I.----I just bellowed a little and found another spot.
Millwood a guy moved in among the Crappie guys with YO-YO,s--that really burnt some tails. I do not move into a spot unless I am invited and I do believe in not getting to close.
I have about avoided crowds but if you are a good fisherman, people will watch you and maybe even follow you.
There is not as much sharing among guys as you would think---I have heard comments, I have my spots---which they mean is baited holes with brush, but ask them where--they just became deaf and have no intentions of sharing.
Go to Lake Erling and see the many many boats in the lake. Some spots may have a dozen boats in the same area. It is a log jam there at times.
