I know the way you have it now it will do that.

When I do a pvc tree, I can put it in 30ft water, 10ft rope to bottom of 10ft tall tree with bottle tied to top. I am now fishing in 10 to 20ft of water. I make mine with a 10ft 4" trunk and 10ft 3/4" limbs. Or if I do like you did, I take the limbs all the way through.

But I don't thing you can make one wrong. As long as you just make it.
Slipcork i actuully thought about doing that, but as you know the pool up there at gold creek is not very deep 10 feet at the deepest, the limbs i put on there are anywhere from 3 to 4 feet long. if i suspend it off of the bottom i would have to go to a 2 foot limb. How ever i may go to a even 3 foot limb and put them on the pipe every where so that it sets up 3 feet off of bottom. I aint opposed to that idea at all. Thanks for the suggestions, i will keep them in mind. like i said at the beginning of this thread, this is my first PVC structure to build, so i am kinda behindthe curve a little. But with the good tips and suggestions i may be settin the curve before long. I have always just sunk hardwood brush.
