Well I went and did some checking 'cause I tho't the unit w/ internal antennas updated slower and had less channels, but the new units list it w/ 50 channels. If you have two HB units that are GPS capable you can link them through the interlink module off the one antenna. The slow refreshing thing may have had more to do with the processor anyway. Check out the Trolling motor/electronics board for some more/better info.

My 798 has the internal antenna it does take about 3-4 min to find you when you fist turn it on but it seems to refresh pleanty fast.
