I only caught six. Started off great then died could'nt get anything but the little ones to bite after that. Still three of them were 12" + can't complain too much, worse day fishing better than the best day working....

I am convinced that there are no Crappie Farther downstream than shaddox hollow! I fished for 5 hours today and just caught Bass! My buddy even fell in to make it more memorable!! I am looking forward to fishing back down by the bridge!

I am new to bentonville, and was looking for good spots to fish and take my son fishing.

I was wondering how well a person could do by fishing from the bank on Beaver lake? Are there ways to get to small inlets and creeks that don't require a boat?

Is there a place to rent small boats?

Thank you for any help you can offer.

    You can rent boats here:
    http://www.hickorycreekmarina.com/
There are also fishing pears at Prairie Creek and Hickory creek that have multiple brush piles around them. A bucket of minnows should do the job.
Fish them 6' to 15' down under a float.
    Good Luck!
