Hello, I'm new to the site and haven't Crappie fished since I was a teenager on Beaver Lake. Just looking for some ideas on fishing spots in the area. I will be taking my 9 year old daughter and we don't have a boat so might be pretty limited. I'm close to Beaver Lake, War Eagle, etc. Thanks! Eric

Hello Eric!
Welcome to the board.
There are public fishing docks in Hickory Creek east of Springdale/Lowell and Prairie Creek east of Rogers on highway 12.
Both docks have brush sank all around them and are very good for crappie and bluegill March through November. Minnows under a float should do the trick fished 6' to 20' down. Black/chartreuse or red/chartreuse tube jigs are effective also on a 1/16 oz jighead.
Good Luck, holler at me if you need more help!

Thank you very much for the feedback. I will try all of the above and let you know how it goes.
Why don't you take a guide like JT, When your taking a young one out fishing you really want him to have a great experience. I run a marina in Branson and it is great to watch the kids fish. Good Luck
Welcome aboard. I am new to nwa also. I have had some success as of late near blue springs just off of 412 E. The fish are moving up to the mouths of the creeks. Minnows and 1/32 jigs. Good luck on the water
Welcome aboard from an Okie.
