I just looked at the weather forecast for the weekend and 10 -20 mph winds called for tomorrow and 10 - 15 for Sunday. I think I'll just fish White or Black River. I think the wind will be less of a problem if a guy's in current.

peckerwood has really slowed down , they are pulling water to fill the green timber for them ducks their is current cutting around the stumps. i have been fishing their 20 plus years and i have never seen it this low, their are dry islands all over the lake . the lake will be open only 9 more day, closes the 31st. i almost could not get my boat on the trailer. only caught 15 good fish in 5 hours. i am stinken a fork in it i am done this year with peckerwood.

Caught 25 at greers this morning but only 10 were worth keeping. Long-lining jigs tipped with minnows. Bad shoulder did ok.

I gotta a feelin if you were to cut off both of waynes arms, he'd be the first man to ever learn to tie on a jig with his toes.
