    Default how low is your favorite lake?


    The lakes are low! keep hearing people talk about how there favorite fishing lake is the lowest they have seen it. This is the first yr I have seen my uncle pond dried up.

    Mine is so low, I had to dip the catfish in my pond for fleas! LOL...........

    Seriously, everything is dangerously low right now but the rain today should help the levels a lot.

    I have lived on Horseshoe Lake Road area for 40 years and have never seen it this dry. You can walk across DePartee creek in places that is bone dry. This is were i have been fishing the last 3 weeks. Have caught really good fish and the amount of fish is good also. I have caught some that has had ticks on em. LOL.

    Degray Lake is over 9 feet low.

    Reminds me of what a buddy said years ago on a hot dry summer when everything was bad low. Said he went out to hit a couple of brushpiles for some crappie and kicked up 3 rabbits and a covey of quail.
