Default Long time no see!!..and a question.

Hey all!! I haven't been around much in a while. Been extremly busy lately. My wife and I had twin girls back in Feburary...they were born at 34 weeks, mom was bed reden for two weeks in the hospital prior to that. The girls were in the NICU for 5 weeks. Everyone is great now...and I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. The girls are now both 15 pounds...full of energy....and CUTE AS BUGS!! Mom is good too and in the past month has really started getting her energy back. Anyways...I sold the Ranger 373V that you have seen in posts here. The one we did carpet on, a deck extension, and the articulated rod holders and minnow buckets. Well I've gotten the bug again...and have been spending time on tinboats.com which by the way if you haven't been on you should check it out!! Awsome aluminum boat site. I'm wanting to get back out there and get our two boys....7 & 10 into crappie fishing. We went a few times last year and they really enjoyed it. I'm looking for a cheap flatbottom boat. Preferably 16' with at least a 42" bottom....I know thats a hard one to find and be cheap...you can find 1436's all day long...but with two young boys...and rather have a 42 or bigger bottom and 16'. Doesn't have to be pretty by any means nor have an outboard....although it would be nice...I wouldn't mind finding a "it ran when we parked it 7 years ago" deal. Those are my cups of tea...although I don't have alot of time...I would like to get back to some of my piddling I used to do. So guys and gals, if you happen to come across one in your wondering or see one on the side of the road or whatever...give me a shout or PM. WOuld really appreciate it!! Missed you guys!!

    Hey Scrapper,

Congratulations on the twins and all being well, including momma. Sounds like you've pretty much had your hands full for the last few months, but glad you're back. Don't know of a boat like what you're looking for but will keep my eyes open and let you know if I run across anything close to what you're looking for. Welcom back!
My wife keeps saying I never listen to her....... or something like that!

Thanks guys...hope to find one before to far into the fall. Would like to be able to get the boys out some when it cools off...during ALL my off time I have...lol. Although after the State Fair it calms down quite a bit. :D Done some pond hopping back in the spring and early summer, but haven't caught a crappie since last year.

I looked at tinboats.com and it was not there. Is there more to the site name?
