    S.S. did you tear it down yourself?

    If so it ain't nothing to it is it?

    That end isn't too bad, it's the top end that's where the problem comes in.

    I was going to tackel my impeller one time on my '98 Merc 40 hoss. My fingers are too big and stiff to get to what ever it is on the shaft under the oil tank. Can't see it either. Any who, I had it replaced every year because it would pee weak. Someone suggested blowing compressed air back through the hole. Now it pee's a stream that would make any 70 year old man proud.

    Wouldn't think that pump would be burn out yet??? You don't start it out of water, do you? That's the worst thing to do a water pump.
