    Default Lake frierson

Hadn't fished frierson in something like 25 years, does it still stay muddy all the time?
If anybody fishes it I'd like more info as to not know where to fish it but if its a good fishing lake.

Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

Saw some coon tracks across it today. Frierson is always muddy anymore. not alot of fish in there, but there are some hogs when you find them. I've never caught a four pounder, but the boy and i were over there two years ago jug fishing for catfish, and we caught the biggest danged crappie I ever seen in my life. 3-10 oz. one of those places where you can fish all weekend and never catch a mess, but you might fish all weekend and stop by the taxidermist on the way home.

That's what I sorta figured I'd haveta have coon traps and a good blue tick to even sniff out a hit.
BUT what I didn't know was they been stocking the half breed marble eye's in there,I think, how long I don't know.Cann't remeber where I read it but had a friend tell me early spring he was catching walleye's out of the spill way, this was after the spring flood.I told him his pants was full of stinky charlies and he didn't know what he was talking about. He said they have teeth and look like a marble eye,so do arkansas pea cock bass I say.I findly said it cann't be a marble eye if it was anything it would have to be a half breed marble eye.A few days later I read where they had stocked 600 half breeds, anyway I think I read that some where.Anyway a few days later I called him and told him if I hadn't dreamed about the stocking he was right. For the next few mins. I had to listen to his ID's of each fish and how he knows what a half breed looks like and I don't.
If so as muddy as it stays it looks like a bass fisherman would hang one every once in awhile as the reason I asked about fishing there.I know fish haveta eat in muddy water b/c they have too if it stays muddy ,lol. But like most I don't like fishing coon water....
