Ironing board is nice, but the crappie story would be a bit better:D
Nice looking fish.
By the way, crossed village creek this afternoon and where I crossed there was no water.

dodge, it's not about the crappie that the villiage crick is famous for. it's about who posts what and where. it was a long long thread on the fudge started by none other than gomer. he was a thorn in the side of his buddy that painted the crick. his buddy quit guiding so i guess gomer has the run of the crick now. i've never been there but his buddy or someone's buddy had the state put in a ramp right by the highway for you to put in. as far as the fishing? you'll have to ask gomer.

Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The sheep live in fear of the wolf but in the end it's the shepherd that eats them.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes click when it is supposed to go bang and
a gun the goes bang when it is supposed to go click.
8-9 feet deep on black/chartreuse jig on a 1/32 ounce jig with a white crappie nibble on portia, burnt cane, East Moon, East Lake, Taylor Bay(Has Been hot but water is dropping), Hurricane and about any oxbow. Find the deep cover and work slowly. Feel it hit a limb or stump work it over. You find the deep cover they will come. Now is when the days just looking with my 997are paying off. get off the banks

Nice info gomer....Those HM finders do look appealing!...Oh, spider riggn or single polling!
Single poling but saw a couple of guys spider rigging catch a few. They probably had more than me. But it seems that if they tried to troll over the same tops they would be hung up a bunch.
