I did a base over the weekend that I think is going to work well. I lined a shallow tote box with plastic, mixed and poured 3" of concrete in it. Already had 10 12" pieces of 1/2" sch 40 cut, drilled and wire run through to anchor. Set the pipe pieces in place and let it dry 48 hours. The base is 20.5 x 14.5 x 3 and weighs about 45 pounds. When I get where I am going to put it, I will glue on my T's and 5' sections and plan to zip tie some river cane to the sections and also zip tie a pair of pantyhose full of dry dog food to it. That should help it until it gets algae covered.
About $15 per is the cost if using full 10' sections. A little less for this first one.
The one being deployed this weekend will be about 6' tall but is going in a spot that has a normal pool of about 12-15'. For deeper spots I will just use the full 10' section of pipe and the structure will be about 11' total.
