Man, that place will flat do that to you. Only thing I have found there is that I can always catch bass there. Crappie and bream are another story all together.
Oh and you are going to have to get in line for lessons, lol.

Went to Lake Brewer Sunday morning and got severely humbled. Caught 5 keepers in a half of day and 9 bass. Fished everywhere from 15 fow to the deepest of the lake to include the banks. No pattern what so ever!
CP - I may need some lessons!:o:o

Don't feel bad Midsouth , i got humbled last time i fished it too, after several good trips i caught a white and a KY bass last time. My partner Crappieoligist did catch two nice crappies but it was bad for us. I posted that bad trip on my last post on Brewer Lake a couple of days ago. guess you missed it. Im not giving up just yet tho and i see some night trip investigations on that lake in the near future.

The best place I've found to drag cranks on Brewer is the area out in front of the north boat launch and the timber in the cove to the right of the launch, as your facing the lake, along the creek channel. This has been a strange spring with everything being behind. If you've been reading Jerry's post from Greeson they started catching them over the piles within the last 2 weeks. They should be stacking up on the piles on Brewer just as soon as the water stabilizes. Brewer is a hard bite when the water is falling. If they don't get on the piles soon you can forget it. You'll find them in the middle of the lake 30'-45' deep. Good luck to all....in this heat I'm heading to catch small mouth on the creeks in northern Ar. for the next 5 days.
