In the world of jig fishing, I have notice more and more people using crappie nibbles to tip their jigs, I have not fell for it yet. Am I missing out on a good thing by not using nibble? If I am what colors work the best. I have seen them with sparkles and without sparkle? Who is the expert on this subject, I always just tip my jigs with minners.
You can't beat the taste of them ole fried SLABS N TATERS!!

The bait pump is the way to go, the nibbles last longer as a paste inside the tubes. They do make a difference. They make a difference just on the hook but they don't last as long.
A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

I started using them this past year and while it was a tough year, I can say that I think they do make a difference.
Quit complaining about the color, just pull up your skirt and fish! -- snagged
I always put a crappie nibble on usually chartruese when using jigs. I definetly know the bream will hit the jig more and steal the nibblet, so I would think the scent catches the crappie's attention too.
My jigs look naked without a nibble on the point, they do make a difference
Then it sounds to me that I need to give the crappie nibbles a try.

they help most on a slow or bad bite... they get firm if you air dry them... spread them out and let a fan blow across them 6 or 7 hours...they will last untill a fish eat it or you snag it...

I always use a nibble when the bite is slow. From my experience the sparkling nibbles lose the sparkle after just a few minutes and you end up with a solid color. Powerbait and gulp both make a maggot/wax worm looking bait much like the nibble but will stay on the hook much better and results have been about the same as nibbles for me.
A CORK TAKES ALL THE FUN OUT OF THAT THUMP!!!!
