I call the nibbles Crappie Candy. I use Chartruse, Pink, or White. Yes, dry them out a bit in a well vented area. Do not spread them out in a closed grage etc. you will not like the end result. I do not use the ones with glitter. They can make a mess in the bottom of ones boat. If this occurs, let them dry before you try to clean up the mess. If you do not let the fallen candy dry before you try to wipe it up on carpet you spread the heck out of it. I only tried to clean up a fallen piece of wet candy once.:D
I hope my two cents helped. Keep tight lines.

Some folks swear by them. I have not seen enough difference to mess with them. Some of my fishing partners use them even in the same boat and not catch anymore fish. If you like them more power to ya. I hate the bother, expense and mess. That is part of the reason for not using live bait.

    Thumbs up

I have used the Chart Nibbles every since I was heavily out fished one day by a guy that was secretly fishing them. If you can't whip them, join them.

    a jig without a nibble isn't bait.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

    Default Nibbles...Minnows...etc.

Your imagination is your only limitation. When spider riggin..I even add the tube portion to the hook and maybe even a nibble or as i call it candy. There is my two cents worth.
