    in the winter time where do you guys like to spider rig at/around? around wood structure, ledges or what I am trying to learn how to spider rid and the couple of times I did it I havnt had any luck YET but I will keep on trying until I have success! so any info would be great!

    and also some of the most replys on cc in arkansas has to do with spider rigging and yo yos! and I love both

    All good tips, thanks guyz, I'll give those speeds a try, do ya'll prefer minners or jigs, if minners rosie reds or standard minners?

    This time of year, the most likely place to catch Crappie is to find the deepest water in the lake and fish 1-5 ft off the bottom. Either go slow or sit still....they are kinda lazy right now and won't chase bait very far...put it in front of their nose and let them get a good look at it!!
