    Default Christmas in Texas

I'm off the water for a while and spending Christmas in Lubbock, Texas with my brothers. This is a very special occasion for us because it is the first time we've all been together in over 18 years.

The Morris Christmas week party has begun. If you go hungry around us it's your own fault. Last night was 20 pounds of ribeyes and beef tenderloin with bacon wrapped peppers, tonight will be chicken mole and homemade tortillas, Thursday will be 2 or 3 pigs worth of grilled pork steak, then a very special Christmass dinner of smoked brisket.

    Dad grilling up the steaks:

You know how us fisherman are, that was to throw him off my trail,he'll think I went though Paragould.

Current River runs into Black River just a few miles above Pocahantas ,it comes out of Missouri into Arkansas.Take hwy 62/67 out Of Pocahantas, some of the towns you'll go though Biggers,Reyno,Datto and succes.

I just rolled in from my own Christmas trip to Texas. The eating highlights included a trip to Galveston Island to eat seafood at Gaido's. Same evening had steaks at Saltgrass Steak House. The next day we ate On McCarty street in Houston for authentic TexMex. These places just filled in the gaps when Mom wasn't cooking. I bet I am hurting worse than you today.

My new year's resolution is to diet and loose weight so I can breath again.
