It may be less biting bugs, but I was in the military stationed in Maryland and Colorado---to much snow.
I was born in Texas and have basically lived my life in Texas and Arkansas, so this is my home that I have not spent a lot of time in neither due to 43 years in government employment , plus the military.
To me it is nice to be back home and I do love fishing
as fishermen, we are very lucky to live in this great state where good numbers can be caught year around....good post mg

Yup! We are blessed when you look around!![]()
While we are commenting on north and south, does anyone know why Arkansas has a split crappie limit? Are we just better fishermen up north? (J/K). I have always thought that we probabley have more people farther north in the state and there is more water with higher populations of fish the father south you go in our state. But I would be interested to know the right reason.
nothing beats time on the water
Misplaced Arkie here, what's a "split crappie limit"? I've came up with a couple of answers, but, still don't know? Haven't been back to fish since '81, so I know I've missed a lot.does anyone know why Arkansas has a split crappie limit?
Don't outsmart your common sense!
