Crappie have begun to move in the piers..the last week or so I've averaged 35- 40 good size fish before 11 am. There have been a few trollers out, but from what I hear not catching many fish. I will post pics later.:D

wheres Horseshoe?

I launched at Karefree and fished the piers by the condos. All were caught on black & chart jigs 6-8 feet deep. Also heard today they were catching them good across the lake in the pads. water level is up about a foot from the recent rains.
thanks memphislab,
I appreciate the info.
When looking at the lake, all I see are 3 ramps on the south side is that correct? and is kamp karefree one of those?

Karfree is the closest ramp to where he is fishing. The launch fee there is $7.00, and the ramp at the south end (streiff's) is $5.00 but is about a mile or so from where he is fishing.
what size jig heads?
horseshoe is in eastern crittenden county in Arkansas about 25 miles south of West Memphis on hwy 147
