We're not having an "official" Crappie Camp this fall but if y'all want to pick a weekend for a get-together, the weekend before Halloween should be a good time. We may have a Spring Crappie Camp if we can figure out how to do it without letting the Rain God's know about it.

    Hey GRIZZ:

Come back next February when we're catching two and a half to three pound crappie and you're freezing your nads off up there!

I kinda lucked into that video helping Self Creek Marina get some footage for their video. It's up now and has some of the same footage.

    Here's the link:

YouTube - Self Creek Lodge & Marina on Lake Greeson in SW Arkansas!

Unless you have really fast Internet you may want to hit the pause button as soon as it starts to play, let it load, hit play and then it will play through without stopping.

Here's you a link on my website that explains Crappie Camp and has picture of all the past camps - Family Fishing Trips It's been a true labor of love and the weather certainly has been fighting us each and every time. We will probably whittle it down to once a year, maybe late spring or early summer and see what we can do to keep it grass roots, more seminars and of course eating as much crappie as we can.
