    Default what to watch for on my fish finder


    On my fish finder what are somethings I need to look for and that are some tips/tricks you guys have for me I have a lowrance 480 it is not in color. Also do you guys pay attention to your grayline/gray scale and if you do what do you set it at and what does it rally mean THANKS!!!

    Start here with Jerry Blake's tutorital on fish finders. This will explain greyscale and sensitivity, etc.

    As far as tips and tricks go, I think the most important thing to remember is that sonar is just a tool, but its not an expert. When you see one fish near habitat on the sonar, there are probably more there. So fish it.
