It's a very high quality Crappie lake. You might want to hit the "Search This Forum" tab on the Right side of the Arkansas Forum page and type in Grand Lake for threads pertaining to Grand. That should give you lots of info about what they like in that lake and when they are biting. BTW, Welcome to the forum from Monticello.... When you say "back home in LA" do you mean "Lower Arkansas" or Louisiana? There are lots of folks on here who can point you to the Crappie in this area. I mainly fish Grand Lake, Washington, Lee, Darbonne, Lake Monticello and lots of smaller potholes up and down the Miss and Ark rivers.
