    Default Lake Nimrod Update

These are some pics of some of the fish caught by Crappiekeeper and my son last week here on Lake Nimrod. The lake has been at full capacity for over a month and was dropping a foot a day while these fish were being caught.

Most came from 8 to 12 feet deep in 14 feet of water trolling jigs with minnows.

Man did you all NAIL 'em!!! That is a fantastic crappie trip and it's what it's all about.

I have been watching the lake on the hydrology sites and it HAS been dropping at a very fast rate, as you say. I would NEVER have thought anyone could catch crappie like that in those conditions.

Thanks for showing us all how it's done!!

The say Blue Mountain is higher now and real good. Nimrod slows after the fall as the water heats up. Trollers seem to do better that jig fishermen this time of year with the fish being suspended chasing the huge schools of Shad.
