    Default Prop Work?

I spun the hub on my prop yesterday. Anybody know where I can find a used one, or have the old ones(I have two) rebuilt in the Central Ar. area? Preferably Jax. or Cabot? It is off of a 15 horse Jonny-rude. Thanks in advance.

You need a new prop, or a new hub assembly? New alum props are not bad, but if it wobbles when it spins, might be something more serious. Friend of mine had similar issue on a big motor hub, and H20 fixed it fine..........wasn't cheap though.

Yes, for where it slips over the prop shaft.

One and the same on this rig. There isn't a sheer pin on this set up. Instead, the hub/bushing is pressed into the prop. So when it takes a hard impact, or a series of impacts, like say hitting a thousand stumps in a day's time, the hub/bushing spins inside the prop housing, instead of trashing the lower unit. So to answer your question, I guess I need a new hub assembly.

Hope it is different guy than one used to run it down on Little Maumelle. Took a Stainless steel down there years ago and ground blades down so thin it ruined mine.

Not sure where my post went?

Johns Welding Shop on Maryland near the NLR airport replaces the bushings. Used to be about $40
