I too have been fish slapped more often than I care to talk about. Spider Trawling with a fish slinging wild woman sometimes gets ugly. She always says it was an accident, but there is always a thought in the back of my mind, that it may have been on purpose. I'm thinking by next Crappie season, a hard hat and safety glasses may be standard equipment on my side of the boat.
