    Default The Ice Strom cometh

Was on the lake yesterday in spite of being "on call". Received a recorded call from Entergy saying be prepared for outages. I feel woefully unprepared. Just this morning I found we were out of bread.

Be safe, drive slow, don't be out in it unless you need to be.

So far no ice sticking to the trees, just a dusting of sleet in Norfork. Anybody getting freezing rain?

Ice on cars. Ice starting to form on trees. Big trucks on the interstate have big chunks blowing off. I can hardly wait for the power outages. My weekend pulling "on call" duties. Lovin it

I forgot what 70 degrees feels like. But! So far we are dodging the bullet on this one as its mainly staying south moreso. We did receive a skim of ice on everything and a dash of sleet and are in the hole between it all..snow is staying north of us,,and ice is south of us and hope it stays all there and leaves us with no more than a couple of inches of snow before its all overwith. Stay warm and keep on fishing and we will just have to wait for spring and ice thawouts around here.
