Default First time on the water and what I found out.

I ain't no steering wheel boat driver. I wallered than thing around everywhere trying to line up with the trailer. After about my third attempt I noticed the truck shaking and it was Carol sitting inside laughing. I hope this improves with time. If not, I should sell tickets for comedy hour at the boat ramp.

The boat runs fast enough for us, and is so quiet at idle, you can't even hear it run. You can carry on a conversation at WOT without screaming. Of course if I can't put us on any fish, we may be screaming at each other anyway.

The boat has a horn. I'm gonna love the horn. I'm gonna honk the horn at whoever is fishing in my spots. I'm gonna honk when people get too close. I'm gonna honk if someone is going down the lake making a tidal wave.

Another nice feature is finding out I can make a revenge wave back just as big as the waves the bass fishers make if the honking doesn't do any good.

I got home and checked the fit for the console sonar. I need some suggestions on the bow sonar since there is storage right in the center. I also need suggestions on transducer mounting. I would like to do this without punching holes, and figure I may can work something out from the motor mounting bolts. I'm looking forward to getting it ready for fishing, but want to do it right the first time.
