If it were me , I would buy a new rod and be done with it , just saying
I agree with that in some cases but if the length of loss is limited to an inch or so it’s one thing but four inches is completely different. Always worth keeping a few tips around just in case. While I’m at it let me say not to use epoxy to hold em on. The hot glue stick lasts til you lose it and can be found at Wally or other places for a couple of bucks. Doesn’t take much more than that to get er done.
