Yes, thanks for the info. I sure hope he can get back out on the water soon. It has been a while, that’s for sure.

Glad for the good news, heal fast Randy. Having lost some pounds before I know how it feels. Now and then you find yourself getting around better.

Thanks for checking up on me. Recovery was going well and then got the Covid. And it kicked my butt. Lost my sense of taste and smell....although hints of it are returning. Have to say I am very pleased so far with the lumbar fusion. My first follow up is on 18 September. Will find out for sure if the fusion has taken hold. Hoping he tells me I can bend a little and come out of the back brace. I'm hoping to get back to fishing no later than 1 October anyway. I am down 83 pounds and that is life changing in itself. Hope I can keep it off.

    Regards

Good to hear from you Randy and glad the surgery is going well.
Congrats on the weight loss. When I went through my cancer surgery and bladder reconstruction I couldn’t do much except short walks and I put on weight. Still trying to get rid of it .
Looking forward to hearing about your fishing experiences in a couple of months.

Randy, glad to hear you're doing well after the surgery and will hopefully be back at it again soon.
Regarding the weight loss, that is an amazing loss, even if it wasn't planned. Do try to make a plan to keep it off as once you're up and around, you'll be amazed at how much you'll notice it being gone. I dropped 70 pounds years ago (planned not illness) and it was life changing. Some of it has come back and I notice the difference and wish it was gone once again.
Yes, I was talking to myself; sometimes even I have to ask for expert advice.

Randy I will second that. Mine wasn't because of a medical issue but made lifestyle changes and got on the mounjario shots and between the 2 dropped 94 lbs. Rolled back the biological clock at least 15 years. Amazing the difference in living my life without 2 - 50lb bags of fertilizer on my shoulder. Hope your health rebounds like mine. Tight lines and prayers my friend. Scott
