Regarding the weight loss, that is an amazing loss, even if it wasn't planned. Do try to make a plan to keep it off as once you're up and around, you'll be amazed at how much you'll notice it being gone. I dropped 70 pounds years ago (planned not illness) and it was life changing. Some of it has come back and I notice the difference and wish it was gone once again.
Randy I will second that. Mine wasn't because of a medical issue but made lifestyle changes and got on the mounjario shots and between the 2 dropped 94 lbs. Rolled back the biological clock at least 15 years. Amazing the difference in living my life without 2 - 50lb bags of fertilizer on my shoulder. Hope your health rebounds like mine. Tight lines and prayers my friend. Scott

That's a lot of weight lost in just a short period of time. Losing that much weight is life changing for the better. I was tired of the chronic back problems and doctor visits and in 2018 started walking to lose weight. My mentality was to burn more calories than I consume and with no special diet lost 40 lbs in two years. Have had zero back pain since and now I still walk to stay at my target weight. Went from 210 to 170 and have maintained that weight give or take a pound or two for the last five years.

When I came off the road I ate different and was more active. Went from 287 to 234 in a few months. That was ten years ago and I’ve kept most of it off but some comes and goes. My big time diet is simple. Portion control and keep my mouth shut. I still eat what I want to but I’m lucky if I can finish one plate of food.now that I’m retired I eat dumb sometimes and behave like I should a good bit. Working so far. Real glad to hear of y’all’s success’. Something to be proud of, and it isn’t easy.

At the moment I’m stuck at around 250.
About four or five years ago I was over 300 , I know but refused to weigh myself until I knew I had lost some and I was 296 when I did weigh .
I’m slowly losing just like I gained most of it to begin with .
It’s exercise, for me it’s riding a bike and watching what I eat . walking is boring . When I’m riding, I’m hitting the hills hard , while keeping an eye on my heart rate .
I had hoped to get under 250# last minute month , haven’t weighed in a few weeks .
Good luck to all of you . Especially Randy !
The older we get the harder it is to get it off .
