That made a neat little rod .

I had one of my MB3 rods snap in the second section from the top . Figured it was a manufacturer defect. But for what I paid for them , I’ll use the remaining sections for parts .
That’s why I ordered several of the MB3’s backup rods . Most were less than $70 shipped which is probably cheaper than than it would be to try a warranty claim and pay shipping both ways .
I had a St Croix Avid that snapped in the upper and a SC Panfish that got broken in the lower end .
I used a cutoff wheel with a dremel tool and cut both so they now slip together as a two piece rod around 5’8” .
I haven’t fished it yet , but it has a great feel to it .
