I prefer a size 10 or even a 12 most times. But it’s hard to find poured heads in a 1/32 in those hook sizes and if I do the hook is low quality and usually short .
I have used streamer hooks with the 4.6mm tungsten beads and my ties weigh in at .87g .
I like the Mustad Ultrapoint hooks and Waspi uses these in their Super jigs , but they use a size 6 in a 1/32 and thought that was a little big .
I guess I need to find a mold that work with the #8 hooks in a 1/32 jig head and try my hand at pouring my own .
Victor's (ifish) jigheads are available in 1g with #10 and 12 hooks, probably the easiest and almost certainly the highest quality option in the US.
