Thanks, that does remove some of my worry. I purchased the reel from Digitaka and will probably keep it rather than try any sort of exchange. I've never used a reel this slow so I'll use it as a learning experience. Maybe, I'll throw some little plastic hellgrammites on a hook and drag those.
