I have this rod in the Light rating and it is so much fun to fish with. Use a good quality line, a reel with a good drag and hold on and have fun. The SUL will not be a broom handle so don't set the hook like a champ, let the soft tip and action do the work for you. Sharp hooks help and the rod bend will show off nicely on hard pulling Panfish.
