The thing is on PE ratings they can be all over the place on breaking strength. We had a small discussion on here a while back about this. Then you see the ratings on rods that will call for 3# test max for FC or nylon line, and yet have a PE rating of .4....this is the rating for my Finezza Prototype 6' 10" UL rod. I would love to talk to the Japanese about the line ratings.....evidently it may not always be about breaking strength. Yet on some rods they have a max pound rating no matter the line. I am sure he could pull some jigs loose with .4 PE line. Interesting discussion for sure.
