After fishing the Flex for a few hours, my initial impressions have been confirmed. In short, this rod is one of the best from my line-up, on par or better than the All-Range (different power ratings, of course). I was throwing 3 g jig heads with small plastic worms on 0.3 XBraid PE line. I wanted to try other lures and a thinner line, but couldn't stop fishing this combo – it was that good. The casting distance and handling of the jig head rig were so amazing I couldn't stop quietly vocalizing my excitement. It does fish very much like a more powerful version of the 67 TZ Nano. Small sand bass and mackerel put an absolutely beautiful bend on this rod. The casting... It was something out of this world. I've never put that size of a jig head so far out on this line. I would estimate at well over 30 m. This rod blows Tict SRAM EXR-77S-Sis out of the water.
