I was able to take the new 6'7" Eradicator out today for the first time. It was slow going but I caught a few. The rod is super sensitive and a blast to fish. It cast the 1/64 TM with ease and has amazing bite detection (compared to what I've been accustomed to in the past). I missed several what were likely smaller fish, but the highlight of the evening was the warmouth I caught. I've never caught one before in the pond I fish. He put a hurtin' on that TM and doubled over Eradicator. It will be my main fishing rod for now with the Major Craft Fine Tail sliding down into the 2 hole.
I had it paired with the 18 Caldia 1000s and it performed well. However, I am on the hunt for a new reel for it, which has been discussed in the reel thread.
