Quick note..I received my MC Triple Cross rod today! I took it out for a quick workout and it's obviously a high quality fishing pole. It is stiff, stiffer than I expected but it bends into a nice arc when fighting a hand size bluegill.

I paired it up with my Luvias 2004 using Trilene's 2lb test and I certainly have some learning to do. I've fished with 6lb line for years and years...I think tying the knots will be the big hurdle.

I can't wait to tie into a big redear on this lake with this outfit. It seems like it will be a good jigging pole. This thing is unlike any ultralight pole I've ever picked up in America. I think the stiffness of it is very unique.
I thought the Triple Cross was stiff until i got the Corto, man this thing is steely. There is a learning curve with the stiffer rods, you do not need to cross their eyes when setting the hook, and patience with the fight of the fish....enjoy the ride the rod gives you!
