Congrats! Good write up and observations.....good looking fish too. The new Triple Cross is really a good looking rod. Just walked a gentleman through the process of buying the Triple Cross Ajing in the 5’ 8” model. I fished the Graphiteleader 17 Finezza Prototype yesterday catching a ton of 7-8 inch bluegill......got home and uploaded the video to iPad and no audio. So that video was a bust. Having owned 4 Mebaru rods the Finezza Prototype is most assuredly different. It is extremely fast....yet the tip is very soft. It is a very steely rod......feeling a soft pick up off the bottom to feeling a lightning strike in the hand when one hit it full force. Need to get more fish on it. I’m trying to figure out is it worth 70 bucks more than the Ice Cube Finesse. The build is absolutely perfect....has Torzite vs Sic-S on the Finesse so that drives up the price. I expected it to have the same action as my other Mebaru rods.....it does not. So making comparisons will be hard. I am amazed that all the rods I have bought all are in some way a little different than specie models from each manufacturer. Of course I am glad they are all different....would hate to have 2 the same.
