Let the filleting begin
Got linked up with Lowe175 for a great day on the water. Visibility was about 4' and the fish were willing when we got started at 1030. As the day progressed, the results of the small cold front started to take effect. We did manage to put 62 in the fish box and probably released about that many shorts as well. We had two really good fish and the rest we kept were solid in the 9.75 - 11" size. Good fall fish. They will make for some good eating! Fish were hitting a 1/32 oz jig shot as far up under the dock as you could get it and then were pilled up on top of brush in 25-35 FOW. No one single spot seemed to really out produce another it was just a constant grind for the 3 of us as we worked around the lake. Thanks Lowe175 for a great day on the water Steve and I had a blast!!! Will be getting the fillet knife out after church today for awhile to get thru all of these!!
