Moulton has very clear water, 10 feet or better after a few weeks without rain. The thermocline sets up fairly shallow in summer, about 12 feet. There's also very little cover left from when the lake was created. This all results into casting tiny jigs (1/32oz or smaller) on light line (I typically use 4-pound test) to slow retrieve in the 10-to-12-foot range. It's slow and methodical fishing in a lake with low number of Crappie.
